The National takes over the #1 spot on our Top Ten Albums of the Week chart, knocking off Vampire Weekend. Cate Le Bon was just outside last week’s top ten, and storms into the chart at #3. Broken Social Scene and Tacocat are in at four and five, with The Get Up Kids debuting on the chart at #8.

Palehound, Yeasayer and Crystal Cities all return to the playlist with new music this week. Stef Chura and Slowness are featured on the station for the first time.

Beck moves into the top spot on this week’s Top 10 Songs of the Week chart. Ex Hex comes in at #2 with Vampire Weekend’s “This Life” sliding down to third. Soak and Wintersleep round out the top five with chart debuts from Calexico & Iron & Wine, Karen O & Danger Mouse, FOAMM and Gardens & Villa.
